  Blue Whistling Thrush

A Blue Whistling Thrush in Singapore's Jurong Bird Park. It is overall dark purple-blue bird, with vague to pale spangling. Its feet and legs are dark grey.

 

This subspecies has a yellowish to near orange bill. With a body size of 35 centimeters, the Blue Whistling Thrush is thought to be the world's largest known species of thrush.
