  Bushy-crested Hornbills

A male and female Bushy-crested Hornbill. Apart from silvery white bare skin patches around the eyes and throat, and a grayish brown tail with an olive tinge and a black wide terminal bar.

 

The plumage of this arboreal bird is entirely black, i.e. head, neck and upperparts black with a green gloss and underparts blackish brown. Their legs and feet are also black, and the bill of the male is black, but that of females, which is usually somewhat smaller, is black with ivory.
