NATURE & GASTRONOMY

  kao kih

Thailand

Chinese wolfberries are known in Thai as kao kih. They are rarely found in fresh form outside of their production region.

In food they are generally used in dried form, but are traditionally cooked first. Their structure and shape somewhat resembles that of raisins, though some particular berries might be a bit harder.
