Rama V eulogy at Naval Academy

Thailand

When King Rama V in 1906 presided over the opening ceremony of the Royal Thai Naval Academy, he wrote a eulogy in the school's visitors' book.

The eulogy was later engraved on a stone slab and placed in a niche, adjascent to the riverfront gate at Thonburi Palace (fig.).
