  Maha Nakhon Building

Thailand

The Maha Nakhon Building in Bangkok was Thailand's highest skyscraper between 2016 and 2018 and stands 314 meters tall, just slightly taller than the Baiyoke Sky Tower, which until 2016 held the record with a height of 309 meters (fig.). The skyscraper is uniquely designed in the shape of a so-called pixelated spiral, with cuboidal surfaces that cut into the side, apparently peeling back the exterior surface layer to expose an inner layer.
