  Reua Phra Thihnang Suphanahong (prow)

 

Thailand

The prow of the Golden Swan Royal Barge, which in Thai is known as Reua Phra Thihnang Suphanahong, is carved into a head of a swan.

 

It has long been a national symbol of Thailand, featuring on stamps (fig.), as well as in the emblem of the TAT, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (fig.), together with Wat Arun (fig.).
