Statue of Prince Chuthathut Tharadilok (fig.) at the Pohchang Academy of Arts in Bangkok. He was the 90th child of King Rama V with his consort Queen Saowapha, to whom the prince was the 15th child. He was born on the island of Koh Si Chang (fig.) in Chonburi, on 5 July 1892 and was bestowed with the title Prince of Phetchabun.

 

The Prince studied at Magdelen College of Cambridge University in England, and after his return to Siam in 1918, he led an art school and became an English teacher at the Faculty of Political Science of the Chulalongkorn University. He was also a playwright, played the grand piano, the harp and the violin.
