  Yellow Pansy

A Yellow Pansy, spotted at the ancient Khmer temple of Bayon (fig.) in Angkor Thom, Cambodia. It has mostly orange wings, with black margins and some blue patches near the base of the hind wings, as well as a greyish patch near the apex of the forewings.

 

The underside of the wings is pale greyish with tawny and black markings, and a series of small eyespots.
