  chan atsadong

Thailand

Chan atsadong is the Thai architectural term for the part of a chedi-style pagoda that is decorated with a row of pillars and that somewhat resembles a balcony.

It is situated between the bottom of the peak and the top of the dome, that is to say, the bell-shaped or hemispherical base.
