  Evil Eye

A pair of eyes on a Vietnamese river barge, to protect it from misfortune and Evil Eye.

 

With this traditional barge in the Mae Khong River (fig.) Delta (fig.) in southern Vietnam, the eyes are made from detachable wooden blocks, that will be removed and are customarily hung on a tree when the boat goes in for maintenance (fig.).
