  Garuda in battle with Naga

 

The golden lotus is a flower often seen in Buddhist or Hindu art and architecture, either as a symbol of enlightenment or as the flower from which Brahma (fig.) emerges from the navel of Vishnu (fig.) during his cosmic sleep on Ananta, in art portrayed as Anatasayin (fig.).
