  khanom sakoo piak

Thailand

Khanom sakoo piak is a watery, pudding-like dessert, usually referred to as tapioca pudding. There are several types, each named after the main ingredient it is served with.

This one is khanom sakoo piak khao poht, i.e. ‘tapioca pudding with corn’, the main ingredients being sago and corn, in this case with some additional brown beans and a green additive, probably on the basis of pandanus.
