  kreuang khwaen

Thailand

Kreuang khwaen is the general name for net or frame-like arrangements of stringed flowers or alternatively popped rice. They are used as ornaments and hung at windows, doorways, gables, and so forth, as well as in certain traditional ceremonies, such as kreuang bucha and the Malai Garland Festival in Yasothon.
