  sun-drying rice wrappers

Phaen kra-yo are thin, dough-like sheets of pastry, used as wrappers for fresh spring rolls. After they have been created (fig.), the soft sheets are sun-dried on large, grid-like frames made from bamboo, and resembling white, almost transparent pancakes.
