During service, the pitcher, i.e. one of the three players of a
takraw
team, takes place in one of the quarter circles on his side of the net.
From here, the
pitcher tosses the ball to the kicker, who stands in the service circle
and has to kick the ball pitched at him over the net,
using one of his feet.
