This type of crown was once worn by the sovereigns of Vietnam. It is modeled on the imperial crowns worn by the emperors and princes of the Ming Dynasty (fig.), and is known by its Chinese name yi shan guan. This one is elaborately decorated with jewels and gold, and the black frontal part displays the Nine Dragons.
