 Subject: Inspiring words against a relevant backdrop: 1. ram ruay (ร่ำรวย), i.e. wealth, represented by Koi Carps, symbols of wealth and fortune, akin to goldfish, which in China are considered wealth symbols, because in Chinese fish are called yú (鱼), a word with the same sound as yú (逾) meaning ‘to exceed’ and yú (余), meaning ‘surplus’, and –although with a different tone– it sounds also somewhat similar to (玉), which means jade’; 2. chohk dih/choke dee (โชคดี), i.e. ‘good luck’, represented by a four-leaf clover, a rare variation of the common three-leaf clover or shamrock, which is believed to bring good luck to those who find it; 3. sukhaphaap dih (สุขภาพดี), i.e. ‘good health’, represented by a turtle, a symbol for longevity; 4. mih khwaamsuk/mee khwamsook (มีความสุข), i.e. ‘being happy’, represented by a rainbow, which is a symbol of happiness.
