The entrance gate
of
Chiang Mai Zoo.
It is
decorated with large bronzes statues of wild animals, a
similar concept as the one used in Bangkok's
Dusit Zoo
(fig.).
The zoo
covers an area of 531
rai and is home to an estimated 400 animals,
including Chuang-Chuang and Lin-Hui, two giant
pandas from
China (fig.)
and their cub Lin Bing.
