A tiny Cereal Leaf Beetle, spotted in Mae Hong Son province. It is largely black with a buffish-orange head and neck.

Being merely about one centimeter tall, it does cast a larger and more impressive shadow, also figuratively as its larvae are able to destroy entire harvests.
