A Radiated Rat Snake, i.e. a snake that is also known as Copperhead Racer (fig.), can grow to a length of about 230 centimeters and its body is grayish or yellowish brown with four black stripes on the anterior part. The head is yellowish to coppery brown with three black streaks radiating from the eye (fig.).

Two of those lines extend downward and one extends backward to the narrow black band over the nape.
