A male Crested Fireback in Singapore's Jurong Bird Park. It has a bluish-black plumage, with white-streaked flanks, a reddish golden-brown rump, a white central tail with black outer-tail feathers, and its feet and legs are reddish-grey.

It has a dark, peacock-like crest, bare blue facial skin, and its eyes have red irises.
