A female Shikra feeding of a dead baby chicken at Delhi National Zoological Park. This bird is pale grey above, with dark primary tips, and patterned whitish below, i.e. a white vent, face and throat, with faint grey mesial streaks, and dense narrow rufous-orange bars on the breast and belly. Being a female, this one has yellow eyes and the upperparts show a faint brownish wash.
