The Thai number 50 (๕๐) formed with various agricultural products, referring to the Kasetsart University's status as an agricultural university. Inside the number zero is in brown the circular emblem of the Kasetsart University, which consists of a blooming lotus flower with in its centre a depiction of Phra Phirun (fig.), the Thai god of rain, holding a sword upright while standing on the back of a naga that sprouts water from its mouth and surrounded by kanok motifs, which is similar to the logo of the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (fig.). Encircling the lotus flower is the university's name in Thai (above), while the date 2486 BE in Thai (พ.ศ. ๒๔๘๖), i.e. 1943 AD, the year in which the university was established, is below.
