The
chai pattana aerator,
an invention ascribed to King
Bhumipon Adunyadet
and used for the
improvement of water quality by
transferring oxygen to bodies of still water. Also depicted is the patent
for the chai pattana aerator model RX-2, which was presented to the king on
2 February 1993 by the Department of Intellectual Property. Research for the
aerator was done by the Royal Irrigation Department and awarded the firtst
prize by the National Research Council of Thailand, an agency which was
inaugurated in 1959 AD. |
