A Balled Millipede spotted in Khao Yai National Park. These creatures live in damp places in the forest, usually near water, and feed on mushrooms and decaying plant material.

They are also known as Pill Millipedes, have a dark brown to black body (fig.) and roll themselves into a ball when they feel threatened or when resting.
