	Black-eared Kite is a subspecies of 
	
		      
		      
		      Black Kite
	 
	(fig.). 
	It is distinct from the nominate race by the tail, 
	which is 
	less forked than that of the first-named race and other subspecies, such as 
	the  
	
	Pariah Kite (fig.), 
	as well as by more white 
	on the underside of the primaries.  |
