  Blue-tailed Bee-eater

Blue-tailed Bee-eaters are primarily green, with a blue tail. Their chins are yellow and the throats brown, while their faces have a narrow blue patch and a thick black eye stripe.

 

Their beaks are black and their mantles are a mixture of mostly blue and olive green, while below the wings are rufous with a dark edge (fig.).
