Unlike many other cuckoos, the Chestnut-breasted Malkoha, a species of cuckoo, builds its own nest and raises its own young.

This large cuckoo, spotted in Phang Nga, can reach up to 49 cm in length and features grey and dark green upperparts with chestnut-colored underparts, along with a large, curved pale upper mandible.
