Portrait of Somdet Phrasangkaraat Chao Krom Luang Chinwaralongkorn, the 18th Supreme Patriarch of Thailand (fig.), who was appointed to the position (fig.) in 1974 by King Rama IX (fig.). He was the abbot of Wat Ratchabophit (fig.) from 1948 until his death in 1988, aged 91.
