RELIGION & MYTHOLOGY

  Luang Poo Suk

Thailand

A wax statue of Luang Poo Suk Kesaroh, a venerated Buddhist monk, who lived between 1847 and 1923 AD. He was the abbot of Wat Pahk Khlong Makhaam Tao in Chainat and was revered as having great spiritual power.

A copper medallion plated with gold, which was issued in 1923  and depicts the monk's image, is still a much sought after amulet.
