This odd
building
at
Technopolis
in
Pathum Thani
houses the
National Science Museum. It
consists of three large cubes balanced on their corners and that are interconnected to
create a striking geometric form.
The exhibition begins with a section devoted to King
Mongkhut (Rama IV),
who is widely regarded as the
Father of Thai Science (fig.)
for his promotion of scientific learning and his
well-known prediction of the solar eclipse of 1868.
