The phikun tree with its ovoid fruit, known as Spanish cherries, which is softly hairy and when ripe, bright red-orange, and edible. In English, this tree is known as Bullet Wood and Star Flower Tree (fig.). It is recognized for its luxury timber, which is extremely hard, strong and tough.
