Reusi phayanaag is a hermit depicted with one or more naga heads on his headdress and who is regarded as one of the senior naga kings. He embodies ascetic wisdom, spiritual power, and a supernatural connection with water-associated serpent beings, and is widely revered in Isaan and along the Mekhong in Laos.
