   Royal Thai Mint Museum (garden)

The permanent exhibition of the Royal Thai Mint Museum (fig.) at the Rohng Kasahp Rangsit complex in Pathum Thani (fig.) already begins on the outside, with the display of some items from and on history.

 

The extended garden in front of the main building is adorned with large statues of imitation photduang bullet money from different periods, erected on pedestals and  surrounded by walkways and bushes, hedges, and flowerbeds of ixora (fig.).

At the far end of the large water ponds filled with lotus flowers (fig.) are a couple of Heaton presses, one on each end, that in 1903 were newly installed at then Royal Mint on Chao Fah Road in Bangkok.
