  Shan baun-bin (Pa-oh)

Myanmar

Shan baun-bi or Shan baung-bi, i.e. ‘Shan trousers’, are long baggy trousers, similar to the Thai kaangkaeng le fisherman pants (fig.), and commonly worn by men in rural Myanmar, especially as part of the traditional dress of many of the ethnic groups, as by this man of the Pa-oh ethnic group.
