A bronze of To Hieu, the Vietnamese revolutionary and resistance hero, who rebelled against French colonial occupation and was imprisoned for this at the French prison in Son La (fig.), where he died from tuberculosis on 7 March 1944, i.e. on his 32nd birthday.
