The ubosot (fig.) of Wat Ratchabophit (fig.) in Bangkok houses the Phra Angkhirot Buddha statue (fig.), one of a small number of Buddha statues cast on the order of King Rama IV(fig.), without the protuberance normally found on the head of a Buddha image, and with the rasmie or flame (fig.) placed directly on top of the head.
