A male Siamese Alexandrine Parakeet with a thin, pitch-black line on the throat, as well as a pink nape band with slight bluish-grey on the top.

 

Though sometimes faint and barely visible, both sexes (fig.) have a thin black line that stretches from their nostrils at top of their beak to their eyes and sometimes beyond.

This subspecies, the Siamese Alexandrine Parakeet, has a yellowish lower mandible and yellowish-grey legs, which sets it apart from all other subspecies, that all have grey legs.
