Tuktuks are motorised sahmlohs (fig.) steered using handlebars like a bicycle. Changing gears is done with a gear stick between the legs.

 

The photo right shows some of these motorised tricycles waiting for a fare at the gates of Phra Rachawang. In the background the spire of sahn lak muang is visible.
