Copperhead Racers.
This non-venomous species can grow to a length of about 230 centimeters and
its body is grayish or yellowish brown with four black stripes on the
anterior part. The head is yellowish (fig.)
to coppery brown with three black streaks radiating
from the eye, of which two extend downward and one backward to the narrow
black band over the nape. As is the case with a number of snakes in the same
family, its nostrils are located on the side of its snout.
