Statue of King Prajadhipok, i.e. Rama VII, which in reality stands in front of the Thai Parliament House in Bangkok (fig.), which houses the National Assembly of Thailand and is here shown in the centre, while in the far back is the Ananta Samahkom Hall (fig.). There is also the signature of King Rama VII, the monarch who in 1932 signed the first Thai Constitution (fig.), which ended the Absolute Monarchy.
