Four successive kings of the Chakri Dynasty, i.e. King Vajiravudh, Prajadhipok, Ananda Mahidol, and Bhumipol Adulyadej, who promoted and developed the Government Savings Bank (GSB), starting with King Rama VI, who in 1913 had set aside his personal funds to set up the Savings Bank in order to provide financial services to the public, and ending with the present Rama IX, as the organization still exists today. In the foreground are office buildings of the GSB in each era.
