When depicted in the royal relaxation position, bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism, such as Kwan Yin, are usually represented in the same way as in Hinduism (fig.). The Buddha however, is often depicted napping with the eyes closed, while resting his head and both hands on his right knee.
