A large standing image of the Gautama Buddha, located at the West Gate of Ananda Phaya in Bagan. The image is made of solid teakwood and covered with gold leaf. It stands in the pahng proht sat position, i.e. with the right hand raised and palm forward, similar to the abhaya mudra, whilst the other hand is raised and stretched outward with the palm up.
