The frigate HTMS Phra Phutta Yotfa Chulalok anchored in front of Koh Phra, i.e. ‘Buddha Island’ or ‘Monk Island’, near its naval base and homeport in Satthahip, Chonburi. It sails under the hull code FFG 461, of which the letters indicate that it is a guided missile frigate. This war ship is named after King Rama I (fig.) and is a sister ship of the HTMS Phra Phutta Leut La Noppalai (fig.), which has the hull code FFG 462.
