  Khlong Sathorn

Khlong Sathorn is a canal that runs in the middle of Sathorn Road, in  Bangkok's Sathorn District, and which is named after Luang Sathon Rajayukta, a wealthy Chinese immigrant and businessman, who in 1895 engineered the digging of the canal that connects the Chao Phraya River (underneath the Taksin Bridge), with the Wat Hua Lamphong Canal, which runs parallel to Rama IV Road.
