Talaat Sampheng is the name of a bustling, semi open-air wholesale market at and around Sampheng Lane, in Bangkok's Chinatown (fig.).

It is set up in many of the narrow alleys in this area where motorbikes come and go to deliver supplies.

The market is a source for many a vendor who comes here to buy goods en mass and sell them on as loose items elsewhere.
