Some popular characters (fig.) and protagonists that frequently occur in nang thalung, i.e. Thai shadow play (fig.). From left to right are a reusi (fig.), Nang Sida (fig.), and two tua talok characters, who are typically depicted with one hand shaped as a human penis (fig.).

 

From right to left are Phra Idsuan, who is typically portrayed riding on the bull Nandi; followed by Prai Nah Bot, i.e. the preluder who represents the performer who recites the invocation, introduces what follows and gives comments on certain issues to the audience;  and again two tua talok.
