  Wat Lahn Kuat

Wat Lahn Kuat, i.e. ‘Temple of a Million Bottles’, is a Buddhist temple located in the amphur Khun Hahn of Sri Saket province.

 

This temple was constructed in 1981 and is decorated with innumerable glass bottles and bottle caps, that glitter and sparkle in the sunlight and were donated by the people.

It is also called Wat Maha Chedi Kaew, which means the ‘Temple of the Great Glass Pagoda’ (fig.).
