Wei Tuo Pu Sa (with horizontal vajra-staff)

China

Wei Tuo Pu Sa, holding his sword-like vajra-staff horizontally over his hands that are in a namaskara or wai gesture in front of his chest. This pose is said to inform that the monastery, where this statue is placed at the back of the entrance, does not offer accommodation to traveling monks and pilgrims.
